I want a nice casual summery dress or two, what styles will suit me?

I haven't worn a dress for years, I really need some help to know what style to go for.

I am a size 16, my belly is ahem, round, but my arms and legs are quite slim, so I perhaps don't look as big as I am, I have pretty big norks that aren't exactly under my chin as they once were (Ah the joys of breastfeeding two kids!!) and I am a bit of a short arse at 5ft 5". Can anyone give me an idea of what sort of style to go for, and please help me ditch the jeans for the summer.

Thanks

Possibly something like this (though not in 16 on the website atm), or this ? This would be flattering on someone with larger norks.

Someone (Enid or Oliveoil, I think) linked to a nice dress the other day - might have been this one .

Thanks everyone, so it is kind of v neck on the knee style I am looking for? And what about the colours, am I going to look like an easter egg if I went for bold colourfull patterns?

V-necks v flattering for larger norks. Also wrap/wrap-effect tops. Try some patterned ones on - I tend to go for the approach of trying on a couple of 'safe' things, plus picking up at least a couple of 'wouldn't think of wearing them in a million years' things, just to see how they look. It can be very interesting. Also, have a look at what other people are wearing, in magazines and in rl, to kind of 'get your eye in' so you have an idea of the sort of shapes that are around atm. And have fun.
