How to find an item of clothing you've seen on a passer by!

I was queuing at a till in John Lewis this evening and I saw a beautifully dressed woman walk past wearing a lovely pair of sandals. I daresay everything she was wearing cost a lot of money, she looked very put together.

They were navy blue, block heel, ankle strap with a little platform and thin gold edging around the sole.

Now I've found things using pictures before, but I don't have a picture! Any ideas? I love these shoes

It's not easy, your best chance is snapping a picture or bazening it out and asking.
I saw a lady in a lovely green jacket today, no hope of tracking it down.
