Bumpy arm skin

Any ideas what causes bumpy arm skin? Particularly upper arms. Hard to explain but I'm sure a lot of people have had it and know what I mean. I've heard many different theories (diet, not enough sunlight etc) but would be interested to hear if anyone has had it before and found a way to cure it!

I can’t agree with the gluten sadly. My dd has Coeliac disease and despite a strict gluten free diet, she’s got it on her upper arms.

I eat a lot of gluten but don't have them (anymore).
So no, I don't think gluten was responsible (in my case)...

Exfoliate, and moisturise ....that kept mine at bay, but what really shifted them was using L'Occitane ALmond Shower oil

Exfoliate and moisturise! I also find mine is worse when I've gained weight or had bad diet weeks/not drank enough water -and had too much wine-

Sounds weird but body brushing helps, they come back when I stop doing it tho.

Tried all sorts , including creams from USA at fifty quid a pop. Switching from shower gel to soap has all but cleared it up ( plus we all smell much fresher) .

Yes definitely ditch the shower gel. Soap is ace. Stops sweaty pits too.
