Interview wear for a very pregnant woman!

Have a job interview for a post I would really like in a few weeks. I'll be 32 or so weeks pregnant by then! Very senior healthcare position. Stiff competition so chances are low but would like to acquit myself well.

I think hiding the bump will be impossible by then sadly which probably won't help my chances but will need a formal outfit. Would normally wear a nice pencil skirt, jacket with top inside it. Thinking that perhaps a good formal dress with or without a jacket may be appropriate?

Tried on the Isabella Oliver Rosa dress but found the material very thin so sent it back.

Normally a size 14 with ENORMOUS backside and thighs which sadly do not shrink in pregnancy. Large bust too. Usually something of an hourglass but obviously lose that shape with the bump!

Grateful for inspiration. Willing to spend some money if the outfit is right!

I don't know if they are dressy enough. I'm looking for the equivalent smartness of a suit but I'm not sure that exists in maternity?

I am currently at work wearing a jersey material just below the knee length black maternity skirt, a black vest top, and a mustard coloured jacket. Smart tan leather sandals. I have hair and make up and jewellery smartly done. I have had a few people tell me I look v smart today, and I would defiantly think it was appropriate for a job interview. I work within the NHS. I am 30 weeks.

Oh good luck

Not maternity but very roomy

Maternity black pencil skirt over bump. Asos are usually good. Smart top/shirt/blouse tucked in and open jacket. I rocked this look at my office job virtually my whole pregnancy.

Hadn't considered getting separates. Would you get a maternity jacket or just a normal one and leave it open?

I like the jacket shirt skirt option the best. And would you feel comfortable wearing black heels with it? - I always think that shoes say a lot about a person, and easily dress up /dress down an outfit.

Do you have a normal, non maternity jacket, you would wear?
I’d put that with a stretchy or maternity pencil skirt, and a top (eg Breton or blouse).
How are you in heels? I’d wear them for an interview, and a smart handbag.

Alternatively, something like this:

I think a jacket is key for this occasion. Once you have that you can decide on the rest.

I’ll be fine for heels for the interview. Just on and off! I’d be buying a new jacket as the one I’ve had for a while is now looking tired.

Happy to throw money at the problem as it’s so hard to find good maternity wear and I’ll definitely feel more confident if I look well.
