What to wear to a premier league match

Hi I've never been to a big football match and going on a first date this Saturday. We will be going out for drinks and a meal after. Would a blazer and jeans be too dressy? Any advice would be gratefully received!

Dress for comfort! Dependant on the ground you might get wet/wind/cold.

I would go for warm and casual/trendy. So - thermal vest! Nice jumper - leather jacket? Blazer style. Long boots (warm ones if you have them) - leggings or skinny jeans. And a hat. I like wool knitted berets - enough to give it a bit warmth but can sit at a jaunty angle :-)
