Quick colour question

Just bought a red skirt, mid brightish red. Reamish embroidered flowers on it.

What colour do you think goes with red? Or do you like to wear with red?

I think I'd quite like a dark red top.

ah, meant to say marne. I really do not suit cream or very light coloured tops.

Red with red is a no no - never match always clash.

What about black or navy?

Pointy - you need to be careful with clashes - make it look deliberate rather than you couldn't find anything else to put on IYSWIM

I don't suit shirt necks. Would need scoop neck style. But that is a lovely top.
