Innisfree no sedum mineral powder is brilliant to use to help limit shine.

Try a bha solution to help the open pores and sebaceous filaments.

I use Korean products which are really good at clearing my skin. The ones I use are Skin food black sugar cleansing oil for the first wash and Toosowoo enzyme powder wash. They give a really good deep clean.

this is me! I thought I was just very black-heady, but after a million years of squeezing them I googled it to find they are sebaceous filaments. Will be watching this thread with interest! I am so greasy ALL the time

I started using the ordinary AHA which has been really good. I notice my pores are significantly smaller after doing this and less gunge. This is after years of exfoliating the sh*t out of my face and still being oily and gungey

I'm using the Superdrug radiant glycolic acid toner and overnight peel and this has dissolved mine fantastically!

I have heard good things about the laroche Possay range. It’s a bit pricey but I’m going to give it a go on pay day. I have the exact same skin issues as you

JoyceDivision · 12/09/2018 21:29

ooh never tried the superdrug own range for skincare but they seem together good reviews.

Found The Ordinary.... Very ordinary sadly

As an aside, what foundation does everyone wear? I am always on the hunt for THE foundation that can contain my greasy face. Must have spent a fortune over the years and still not found the ONE! I don't like a heavy foundation, just something light but think thats what isn't helping.

I started buying la Roche posay after starting roaccutane and having really dry skin. It is expensive but worth it to me as my skin feels healthier (but that could purely be roaccutane). Hydrated but not oily and people comment on my glow. I looked for non-comedogenic moisturisers to stop the little white bumps and la Roche posay was recommended.

Paula's Choice BHA will clear the skin and Dr Hauschka Normalizing oil will get rid of shine.
