Eyebrow pencil

I used to use MAC lingering but after getting through 1 a month I looked for a cheaper option. I found a boots own (seventeen I think) which has lasted nearly a year and looks amazing.

Have boots done away with seventeen? Can anyone help with a good fairly reasonably price eyebrow pencil?

NYX do a good eyebrow pencil (in larger Boots) . Lots of shades .
There's a ultra-fine or a standard ( for however brow-blessed you are )

I like collection 2000 ones

ELF do a great eyebrow pencil. Good range of shades and last ages.

The eyelure one is really good.

I have a huge boots down the road so I'm heading there tomorrow to replace my stumpy crayon.

The Avon mark one in the little round pot is absolutely brilliant but you need a decent brush to put it on x

I know you asked about a pencil but I switched to powder about 3yrs ago and use the HD palette, I couldn't go back!

It's pricey but mine lasts around a year or more so works out cheaper than using lots of pencils?

I like that it has a few shades so I can mix them up and go lighter for daywear and heavier/darker for evening makeup

I found the eyelure one a bit crumbly. Love my Anastasia Beverley Hills but it's probably no cheaper than Mac.

Tbh I don't mind paying the price of it lasts. I was getting through ugh 1 mac pencil a month.

Bought the NYX micro one last week in Boots and it’s the bees knees. It’s weaned me off Benefit.

My faves for brow pencil are, NYX espresso , its a thin wind up pencil, love it. Or Maybelline brow pencil, last ages and also no pairing as its retractable.

Last weekend Boots were doing 3 for 2 on cosmetics and it included NYX which they don’t usually.

Has anyone tried that Maybelline tattoo pen? The one with the three pronged felt tip end. I was intrigued but the colour seemed a bit wishy washy on the tester.

@NotExactlyHappyToHelp I've had two of them. They are absolutely brilliant to start with but they dry out so quickly (I'm talking days) that it just isn't worth it. I thought I'd found my holy grail product, alas it wasn't to be. I bought two just to check I didn't have a duff one to start with. Sadly it's just a shit design.

@riske Oh no . I’d seen the reviews about them not lasting very long but opinions seemed to differ on that.

Have you tried any of their other brow products? Their taupe colour is the best match I’ve ever found for my brows.

I use a dark grey powder. A matte eye shadow actually.
Lasts three years.

Imo pencils look too fake, whereas a powder blends right in.

I just discovered max factor brow shaper which is great. I defected after Mac changed their packaging - now their brow crayons fall out of the pack when you turn it upside down 🙄

Ok I brought the nyx but similar design to the Mac and I will get through it quite quickly. I have thick eyebrows and I use the pencil to make longer.

I looked at the Anastasia but worried I will pick the wrong colour.

I had my bridal make up trial last week so I might ask what powder she used as my brows looked amazing. In the mean time the nyx is a great shade and blends in well

Anastasia is amazing but I use maybeline Brow precise micro pencil.. it’s honestly amazing.. £7.99 check out the reviews

I also used to use MAC lingering - was gutted when they reformulated it earlier this year. It's now awful.

The eyelure one is the best I've found so far - but still not great so annoying!
