Life changing jeggings

Just wanted to share my little find with you.
I wear skinny jeans a lot but I hate how the button/zip area shows through if I'm wearing a tight fitting or thin top so I decided to try some jeggings. Tried a few pairs on and bought 2 which solved the button problem. Last week I bought a pair from M&S and they have done amazing and magical things for my body. I bought my usual size which seemed a little too small but I finally wriggled into them and WOW!
I have slim legs but quite flabby thighs which are not in proportion with my lower legs so I usually wear longer length tops when I'm in skinnies to hide them. These jeggings slim my thighs down so much that I'm able to wear normal length tops/jumpers with them. They also seem to push up my ample but slightly saggy bum. I cannot believe how flattering these jeggings are. Only £15 and they do them in loads of colours and 3 lengths. I've just ordered them in charcoal and another pair in black.
I really can't recommend them highly enough. If you do buy any make sure you get your normal size, they will seem a bit too small but once they're on they are so comfy and flattering. Can't believe how excited I am about a pair of 15 quid jeggings but they are the best item of clothing I've bought in years!

Thanks for this. Just ordered the charcoal ones in two sizes. I’m such a sheep!

MoorMummy · 05/09/2018 10:19

I’ve got several pairs, they are good for the money, though I bought the original ones last year and when I looked at the new ones, they are thinner and not as nice.

Mine haven't faded at all but I do use washing liquid for dark clothes which I find helps to keep my dark clothes dark for much longer

What a shame that the petite range only comes in black or dark blue. They could at least offer a couple of bright colours. Sad

alphaechokiwi · 05/09/2018 10:29

@Lizzy1980 I also wash darks with liquid and take good care with my clothes. I can generally get good wear out of things. These jeggings have been a real disappointment. Great fit, great for wearing to work, great for home, just not holding their colour well...

Haworthia · 05/09/2018 10:30

I have parsnip legs and these sound right up my street.

Bamaluz · 05/09/2018 10:42

If you wash them inside out they shouldn't fade as much.

Lizzy1980 · 05/09/2018 10:42

lol, parsnip legs. Never heard that one before. Sounds like I have those too

The only ones in my size are berry red. Believe me, when you've an arse like mine, that's not recommended...

PawneeToday · 05/09/2018 10:54

I'm intrigued but have found since having 2 c-sections I struggle psychologically to wear anything tight or restrictive. I can just about manage leggings now. Are they comfy? Properly comfy?

ElfrideSwancourt · 05/09/2018 10:57

I've just ordered two pairs- v excited

TomHardysNextWife · 05/09/2018 11:15

I've found the colour has lasted well.... but I wash mine inside out at 30c in non bio powder and don't line dry in the sun??

Lizzy1980 · 05/09/2018 11:18

I find them very comfy compared to skinny jeans and much more comfy than the other jeggings I bought (Asos). They have an elasticated waist and the waistband is quite soft and doesn't dig in.
I find them perfect for my shape. I'm very self conscious about my thighs which are ok then go really big at the top. They seem to pull me in without flattening my bum. I really struggle to find jeans/trousers that flatter my horrible shape so I'm so happy that I've found something that makes me feel quite nice

I wash mine inside out too

I have recently found these as well and love them!

Palmer1983 · 05/09/2018 11:27

I've just ordered some new ones as well Grin

fuzzyfozzy · 05/09/2018 11:51

But I love pockets!

Lizzy1980 · 05/09/2018 12:05

Know what you mean about pockets. They do have bum pockets though if that helps

My phone falls down the loo with those 😂

thesoo · 05/09/2018 13:22

I have just ordered a pair too. I received a £5 off all trousers voucher through Sparks, so they were only £10! Might be worth checking your offers before you buy.

MrsRubyMonday · 05/09/2018 14:35

The Dorothy Perkins Eden jeggings are very similar and come in different colours and lengths, they normally bring out brighter for summer and then bottle green and rust for autumn winter, plus standard blues and black. They often have a 2 for £25 deal as well.

Youaremysunshine4eva · 05/09/2018 16:10

Thanks for the tip Yousoo I also have bought a pair for £10! Wouldn't have thought to look at my Sparks offers x

Youaremysunshine4eva · 05/09/2018 16:12

Thesoo not yousoo!!

Immigrantsong · 06/09/2018 06:01

Tried them in store. Horrible,I don't get the fuss. And I am quite slim but they did nothing for me. In fact made me look bigger.
