Ankle boots and jeans. How???

I think knee high boots are really not the thing any more where I live, so I want some ankle boots.

How is this going to work?! Looking at photos of boots I like they have skinny jeans tucked in. But my skinny jeans are not quite as skinny at the bottom. I think they’ll look o bit off. I’m not going to be up for a gap of skin in winter which seems to be the other option. I’m also not buying three new pairs of jeans.

So, tell me what am I going to be wearing this winter? I have grand plans to build a capsule wardrobe but am stuck at the first hurdle.

damn I just brought a pair of grey suede knee high boots I didn't think they weren't a thing anymore- have a missed the boat! I wear jeans with ankle boots I don't roll up but looks much better actually! thanks!

They were for me - I got the tan last September and wore them nearly every day until February. I bought the chestnut brown in the sale but haven't worn them yet as it's been too warm.

H&m currently have the perfect socks for ankle boot with rolled up jean gap. Pretty designs or block colours in this season colours. I need to go back for more...

I’ll be wearing clog boots, Paul. But then I have done for years! Nice wide tops so jeans sit inside them nicely, and the thick wooden sole raises you off the ground and insulates from the cold. Toasty, practical, and a bit different.
