Can you go swimming after having highlights done?

Is there a time period after having highlights done that you shouldn't go into a swimming pool because of the chlorine? Will my hair turn green

i do and never had a problem but i do think hte colour fades quicker if you swim a lot

Thanks. I had highlights done today and am going away for the weekend and want to use all the hotels facilities (make the most of my Tesco deal!!)

Colour fades after 6 weeks anyway, might as well enjoy yourself.
