Damaged shoes, do I have any rights?

Hi,

Bought a pair of day shoes and they seem to already be breaking at the sides through general walking around. They were only bought a few months back. Can I challenge the store or is this pretty normal? As I have got wear out of them this summer, I would probably end up just binning them after summer and not buying the brand again.

Depends on where you bought them. A lot of fashion shoes aren't designed to be worn more than a few times( including designer ones) so it would depend on the retailer.

Fitflops, thought they would be fine for years! I'm not sure I'll bother next time with the brand!

It's worth a try, I had a pair of Birkenstocks that start to split after 2 months. They weren't cheap and I've had ones before that lasted years. In my eyes they were faulty. I brought them via amazon who offered a refund straight away. Good luck.

sent pics and they were happy to refund! might get another pair as they said wasn't the norm with their stuff!
