Trinny and Susannah last night

Did any one watch this? It was a couples makeover and they dressed the man in a white suit with a black shirt !! (1970's John Travolta style). Is this look back in fashion (not that I'll be rushing out to buy similar for DH)

I didn't see it but on the subject of T and S, my ILs were on the train with them the other week, they were sat in the IL's seats and got all huffy when FIL asked them to move and then kept putting their used food things and empty cups on the IL's table. S was much nicer than T apparently (and was retrieving the rubbish and putting it back on their table) but MIL said T needed to learn some manners, the snooty little madam! Sometimes I do wonder if they dress people in things for a laugh, I mean, white suit and black shirt.....very silly

Should've got MIL to take camera phone footage (she wouldn't have been able to do it covert tho - she's not a techy type). I wish she'd have been putting her crisp packets on my table - I'd have grabbed her boobs!

It did make me think though how much damage people do making off hand nasty comments to kids. (her Dad calling her fat and ugly)

Agree about the white suit being awful.

I'd imagine it does lots of damage if that's a father making comments to his daughter, girls self esteem is very highly linked to their fathers attitude towards them.
Luckily my girls think they are godess' thanks to their dad, feel sorry for the potential biyfriends really.

I dunno - they looked good at the end but when they're trying stuff on why do T&S insist on putting them in clothes that don't fit?

The white suit thing was ok for a weekend in Rome, but I bet that doesn't come out of the wardrobe again!

I bet the couple are back in jeans and a jumper within a couple of weeks.
