dh is off on a company jolly in a few weeks including a black tie dinner . Any suggestions for good value (pref quality and stylish too !) dinner suits as it is n't likely to get regular use . So far TK Maxx and Austin Reed have been suggetsed but have also just seen online that M and S are doing some from around £100, are they any good ?

Depends entirely on shape of said DH - my dad is shortish and slenderish and fits M&S suits well. DH is large and brawny and looks awful in them.

TBH it's worth buying a nice-ish one (ie ALL WOOL and not from Next or Burton) as he will wear it, however occasioanlly, for the next 20 years. Austin Reed a good place to start, also look at the Pierre Cardin ones in Moss Bros.

If you're near an outlet village they often have v good ones heavily reduced so you pay £100 but get £300 worth of suit, if that makes sens.
