.....a turquoise light knitted /crocheted type cardigan/shrug or something similar.

I've bought a Great Plains dress for a wedding, it has spaghetti type straps so would like a lightweight cardigan or similar to wear over it.

I can't find anything on the High St.

My plan B if I can't find anything is to get a pashmina with beaded edging (can't even find anything like that in the shops but theres thousands of them on eBay)

something like This or more delicate?

Get yourself over to Cheltenham!

BettySpaghetti · 05/06/2007 14:50

Hi there furball

Went to Cheltenham before half term which is where I got the dress from (Cavendish House). Tried to find the dress on the Great Plains site but its not there.

The colour I need is more turquoise than the one on your link.

Turquoise cropped cardy?

BettySpaghetti · 05/06/2007 14:52

...and would prefer something more delicate.

Its reall annoying as I have a perfect one, style and knit-wise (only the wrong colour) from Kaliko which I had for a wedding a few years ago.

That Debenhams one is a better style, but convinced its not "delicate" or "fancy" enough IYSWIM.

Sorry to be fussy

The second East one is probably the right colour and the style is nice, if a little plain.

On the list of MrsB's links no 8, the Laura Ashley one, is a nice style, added bonus of the detailing around the neck and cuffs but the colour is wrong.

Thanks

I think I'm stealing one of MrsBadger's links here, but might any of these work? (you have to scroll down to see them).

MrsBadger · 05/06/2007 16:44

Jackie, do you know, I looked there and discarded it due to No Turquoise

JackieNo · 05/06/2007 16:46

But there are some light blue that I thought might work, as they're very transparent.

Furball · 05/06/2007 18:54

Taadaa!

Furball · 05/06/2007 18:55

Blimey - spoilt for choice

Furball · 05/06/2007 19:03

another one?

Furball · 05/06/2007 19:06

Next time Betty - Buy the shrug, then get the dress to go with it

Furball · 05/06/2007 19:10

Mediterrean blue? under 'Pure Silk' Pashminas - then the smaller of the sizes.
