Are black shoes with navy tights/navy outfit a big no-no?

Saw some lovely shoes in Office today. Asked if they did them in navy, (which I predominantly wear), but no, only available in black. Would wearing the black shoes with navy tights/outfit be a big no no? Or would it hardly be noticeable?

So is a navy dress, with black tights and black shoes more acceptable than navy dress, navy tights and black shoes? Might go for that look then, as I don't want the colour change to be noticeable!

As long as the navy is not too blue (you'll see if it is), I think black tights and shoes are totally fine with navy dresses. I have about six outfits like this which work well.

Black and navy paired together is very chic.

I must admit I don't think navy and black do go. Which is why I don't own any navy dresses even though I love the colour - and I don't feel like I could wear one without tights to work.

Charcoal grey tights bridge the gap between navy dress and black shoes.

I would wear it, but I'm thinking that matching the tights with your clothes is the new way to go, but I would choose brown or plum shoes. I think with black shoes, you'd be better off with black tights/sheer tights/no tights.

I have a short burgundy leather skirt, which when it becomes tights season I intend to wear with burgundy tights and brown boots. It looks better than it sounds, honestly.

Okay, I'll buy the shoes and wear them with my navy. I do have the sea salt navy tights, which are a very dull navy, so hopefully it's not too noticeable!

Def black shoes and tights with navy dress these days, a la whistles etc. Navy and navy can be a bit matchy-matchy. I quite like matchy matchy sometimes but don’t think it’s the trend right now.
