My hair looks shit.....

Don't have money to go to hairdresser.
So I went to Tesco and bought L'Oreal hair kit - brown colour with ash blonde streaks.
Hair colour came out ok but the streaks - it's ORANGE! YUK!

Please remind me NOT to try something like this again!

Poor you. Had similar experience myself - subtle it wasn't. In the end I over-dyed it with a plain brown so it was back to my natural colour.

If you're skint do you live anywhere with a college that does hairdressing or any of the big salons like toni and guy? If so they will often cut your hair for free if you're okay with a student doing it. I used to do that as a student. Can't do it now as live out in sticks.

get one of those thick hair bands - covers roots, keeps hair out your face and hides any bits that really ought to have been blo dried into submission.
