What to wear with pencil black leather skirt for a date, help!

I have a date for the first time in 18 years next weekend, I have a black leather skirt that ive only worn once so rather than buy a whole new dress have decided to wear that with black stilettos.

but what top, im a sz 14, with 36dd's hate wrap tops as they never fit properly. im clueless at what to put with it or where to begin. were only going for drinks in a local bar so nothing to fancy.

How about something like these? Casual but still looks like you've made an effort for the date

I have a similar skirt and wear it with loads of different things. A high neck lace blouse tucked in, a long sleeve body suit, leopard print top, t-shirts. It looks good with converse, heels, DM's, ankle boots. Try on some tops that you have and see what feels good.

I have these uniqlo tops that tuck in nicely.

Can I ask where you got your skirt from?

dandelion it was from huge boss just after Christmas in their sale.

I do like the look of the t-shirt but I have a bit of a tummy (thanks ds & galaxy) which I'm trying to avoid showing off.

I do like that tie shirt though, that might work to hide the stomach area too, hmm off to investigate, thanks!

I wear my longer leather skirts (like yours, OP) with a long sleeved body or a leotard.

Maybe wear a deep(ish) V necked linen mix top?

I have one and when going out I wear with a very fine knit on top tucked in a bit with some heels.
Alternatively with a v neck short sleeved top - maybe quite sheer or silky.

I wear mine with fine knit merino tops or my light weight bardot jumper. Something unfussy and understated, so no prints.
