As the title really. My body shape has changed so much, I’m now a size 8. I’ve spent the summer buying bits in charity shops to fit my decreasing size and now have plenty summer stuff, but thinking ahead to autumn I don’t know what to start looking for.

I have a decent pair of boots, several jeans, and some tweedy trousers in my size, but what on top? I’ve always delighted in autumn as I can get out all my big slouchy jumpers and hide but now I’m skinny so I don’t want to! I like the idea of snuggly knits, neutral colours, and things that show my newly slim legs.

I don’t have a massive budget but I am prepared to start searching for things now in preparation for the cold weather.

Have a look at asos. You can order lots and try thing on with clothes you already own.
If you've got some jeans that you like then build from that. Maybe get some long sleeved cotton tops to go with them. Some fitted jumpers in wool/merino etc. H&M is great for a budget and also uniqlo.

If I was you I'd build up slowly and buy things you really love rather than a whole new wardrobe in one go. It'll take awhile to see what you actually suit now and enjoy wearing.
Congratulations on losing weight, enjoy the shopping.

Thanks miss marple, that’s good advice. I think part of it is not knowing what to even try on in shops, because I am so used to looking for certain styles and ignoring other things. I’ve never shopped at ASOS so I will definitely look there.

And Nancy that made me Grin- I currently look horrendous under my clothes after loosing weight quite quickly so I don’t think the world is ready for that!!!
