Hi

What do you think about the cut and draping of this kin top? I'm just finding the way the cut and drape of sleeves look odd or is it supposed to be like that. I'm just trying to buy stuff that's better cut....been reading about it from Justine on YouTube but have no clue how to start

I’m no expert but that looks awful to me. It would hang horribly from my boobs and make me look like a hand puppet Grin

On a more constructive note (sorry!) I find that clothes from Baukjen are cut really well and are drapey and flattering. Worth the money ime, but I only buy in the sale.

Kin stuff is completely hit and miss for me and I have to try things on to be sure. But I have to say that does not look like a well-cut top to me.

I always feel I SHOULD like Kin, but I often feel the fabric is off for the style, and things end up quite stiff and sticky-out. Although I accept that may be what is intended, and it’s just not my taste. What would particularly bother me about the one in your picture though is that the strips aren’t aligned between the body and the sleeves. For drape, I like baukjen, hush, some of the JL Collection, Mint Velvet sometimes, and Whistles sometimes. I also like some Cos, but find their website images so off putting I tend to only ever buy there if I can get to a store.

Try Cos for that kind of fit but more flattering.
Phase eight and Jaeger as well - although they may look a bit dull and boring at first sight, when you put the item on you can tell the cut is good quality and the clothes hang very well.
