I am going to a party in a few weeks and having lost weight recently would like to buy a new dress.

I am short, so looking for around knee length, and an apple. Size 12/14.

I would prefer black, but any dark colour will be considered.

I don't really like anything tight around my waist as I'm really self conscious of my mum tum which refuses to shift despite the weight loss Still a stone to go.

I am a similar size to you and the Boden Martha dress in black is really flattering. I go for the longer length as I like it just below knee.
I wear Spanx to hold my tummy in but always get compliments when I wear it

@HoleyCoMoley there is a fine line between fitted, floaty and tent - I will say skimming. I would pay anything for a perfect dress, but as I hope to lose more weight max budget £100.
