Dog Walking Jacket that doesn't resemble a sack of spuds?

Any suggestions for a waterproof jacket with hood for dog walking/trips to the park in the wet? All the ones I've seen and tried look beyond awful. Obviously the objective is to stay warm and dry but still.......

Have you looked at Barbour? Pricey but would last you years. Could even look on eBay for a used one.

Yes definitely have a look at Barbour. They really do keep you warm and dry and look stylish.

The protected species coats are amazing and surprisingly stylish, the Mumsnet code for 40pc off finishes today I think. I bought the short biker jacket inspired style but the parka is long and probably perfect for dog walking.

Didrikson make very waterproof coats that are generally nicely cut and have good pockets for keys etc.
