I have these and they’re great, better quality than you’d expect from the price

polkadotpixie · 11/08/2018 06:01

My sister has some lovely ones from Next. Think they were only about £20

If you can wear 7/8 length, I got some nice ones from H&M, only £7.99!

H&M

Next! I need petite length and know they will fit from here!

PhyllisWig · 11/08/2018 20:45

Uniqlo- their work trousers are great. I am short (5ft 3) and although the trousers are meant to be ankle length they are full length on me.

Good quality for the price and wash really well.

purplecorkheart · 11/08/2018 20:49

Next, I find there basics like that are still good quality, and long lasting. A lot of there other stuff isn't great quality and style wise at the moment. M&S sale is worth a look as well if you are passing a store. They can be good for work trousers.

Lunaballoon · 11/08/2018 21:20

These from Uniqlo are great work trousers. They wash well, don’t need ironing - I have several pairs!

PhyllisWig · 11/08/2018 21:35

The ones Luna posted are the ones I have. Best work trousers I've had for years

Gap

M&S
I wear pull on, straight leg, easy wash/dry (NHS uniform)

Butterfly1975 · 11/08/2018 22:11

Matalan - I love their slim work trousers as I find them a great fit, wash really well and cheap as chips! If you are tall or petite the range of leg lengths they do is good too.

Agree Next is good for trousers but I find they never have the sizes in stock Hmm

Am tempted to try Uniqlo from recommendations here too. Are they generally true to size? Never bought from there before and I don't usually have a lot of success with buying online!

bingohandjob · 11/08/2018 22:21

Uniqlo. I find they run slightly smaller so I tend to order in two sizes and send back.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 11/08/2018 22:25

Uniqlo and M&S. I find Uniqlo match up very nicely ie if I buy a 12 in other shops then a medium in Uniqlo works well.

dontgetowtfernowt · 11/08/2018 22:44

Another vote for GAP

ShopoholicIn · 12/08/2018 00:49

Uniqlo.. i bought 2 from them n just love them...

mammmamia · 12/08/2018 08:26

I have those uniqlo ones after seeing them raves about on here and they have gone really baggy around the bum. So I a on the hunt for other suggestions.

PowerPlayed · 12/08/2018 08:33

Depends on what "not too expensive" translates as but I like banana republic.

Also just found some great ones in M&S, slightly textured, wool mix. Look far more expensive than the £45 they were.

PinkAvocado · 12/08/2018 08:33

Sainsbury’s have some in their new range in stores.

toomanyeastereggsurghh · 12/08/2018 08:36

Next - good work basics. Plus I get to wear a size smaller as their sizes run quite big so it makes me feel slimmer Grin
