Size 18-24 what's your go to outfit in this heat?

I'm sooooo hot... I'm also working (casual dress allowed in summer) and a size 22 and really I don't know what to wear.
I'm cycling to work so tend to avoid dresses and I end up 90% of the time in dark blue slim jeans, Next boxy short sleeve blouse and Clarks loafers.
What else can I wear?
Looking at Boden now, hardly inspiring.
Heeeeeelp please

ASOS Curve have some nice things - if you like trousers you could go for some cropped style which would be a bit looser and cooler (plus can still wear with your blouses and loafers).

m.asos.com/new-look-plus/new-look-curve-wide-leg-culottes/prd/9289080?clr=black&SearchQuery=curve%20culotte&gridcolumn=1&gridrow=11&gridsize=2&pge=1&pgesize=72&totalstyles=23

Or some tapered trousers which would be similar shape to slim leg jeans but lighter material?

m.asos.com/asos-curve/asos-design-curve-tapered-peg-with-contrast-bind-in-mono-floral-print/prd/10231866?clr=multi&SearchQuery=curve%20tapered%20trousers&gridcolumn=1&gridrow=4&gridsize=2&pge=1&pgesize=72&totalstyles=12

And you can switch these out with lots of different style tops with some nice simple sandals:

Or maybe even a jumpsuit style outfit if you fancied something a bit different?

m.asos.com/asos-curve/asos-curve-tea-jumpsuit-with-knot-front/prd/8590241?clr=black&SearchQuery=jumpsuit%20curve&gridcolumn=2&gridrow=9&gridsize=2&pge=1&pgesize=72&totalstyles=71

Hope that helps - this heat is a bit much isn't it! X

P.s sorry for massive links!

Asda linen style crop trousers or knee length shorts, with asda swing vests and short sleeve shrug on more casual days.

Knee length Dorothy Perkins jersey dresses on smarter days.

I had forgotten about ASOS curve - I've just spent 15min on the website... I think I'm just too square Blush
I have just ordered more boxy blouse from next... and a pair of "boy" shorts whatever that is - to go on as soon as bra goes off at the end of the day!

Next jeggings in a variety of colours and longish tunic tops mainly. I have a few longer / baggier t-shirt type tops too in nice summery colours - bright pinks and blues.

BirdsAndBlips · 05/08/2018 18:49

Diabolica I almost bought a pair of Next jeggings earlier, is the waist comfortable? And where do you find your tunics please?

Yes I find them very comfortable and they stay up nicely too. I have had a couple of nice tunic tops from next in the past couple of weeks...

This one comes in a few diff colours

Leggings, a longline black/white vest top, and a lightweight cover up to make it look more exciting than it really is. I just got this one from Yours and it's gorgeous:

Thanks a lot for the tunic links and the cover up idea it's a really good one... now if I just could magically dare wearing prints...

I've just bought these for my holidays. So not my usual style but I'm embracing the print!

Linen trousers from Sainsbury or Asda, tshirt from sainsbury or M&S. Been keeping me cool!

BirdsAndBlips · 07/08/2018 06:46

When I see stylish women in the street, my size and wearing prints I'm always in admiration - it looks generally very well put together.
