Help, I think this will look ok but DP says no! Who is right?

I am off to a wedding in three weeks time and have got myself a lovely light green 60's style dress, he then thought I needed a jacket to go over it "for just in case" so today I've bought myself a grey 60's style jacket which he doesn't think is going to be right for the dress, my accessories are of a light gold colour and thought that the grey would look ok to me. What do you girls think?

can't tell without pictures and styles

could be great could be foul

grey and green, mainly, go together wondefully.
Does he just not like the jacket because it hides your norks?

Difficult to say, Aufish, but men can often be right with these things .. (my dp's a scruffy git, but he always knows what looks good on me and what doesn't).

It's always a nightmare, ain't it?

Pictures are not online otherwise would have put them on for you.

Dress is a shift style dress with a scooped neck line, short sleeved from Tesco

Jacket is a swing style jacket without a collar and three quarter length sleeves with big buttons

take a picture and put it on your profile (just take it from the neck down if you are worried)

then we can all judge

Oh no! can't add pictures to my profile as am totally rubbish at tech things!
