What’s going on at LK Bennett?

Just tried to get on their website and it says they are not taking any orders at present time- can’t even seem to browse the sight! ???

Looks like they are back to taking orders, but with a delay. Fingers crossed that all is ok!!

The Chichester branch closed about 2 years ago and I think the outlet in Portsmouth may have closed as well.

I haven’t like the collections for a couple of seasons but I don’t like emerald green, orange or brown patterns. Dresses seemed very fussy as well .

That explains my catastrophe a few weeks ago. Well, not really explains it but now I know it’s not just me!
Hope they pull it back, some really classic well cut clothes that last well - although they seem to have lost their way a little for me recently. Embellishments where none are needed and some dodgy materials!

I think the fussiness and embellishments where none required are down to what’s ‘in’ rather than an LKB thing. The fashion industry is not helping itself at the moment.

John Lewis isn’t doing so well either. Agree re HoF and LKB. There will be nowhere left soon.

I have bought quite a lot from LKBennett in the past but I stopped even looking at their stuff because it is very expensive indeed.

LL Bennett is expensive but their clothing lasts and lasts. There are very few options for professional clothing for women left. I wear dresses and jackets 4 days a week. My DVF dresses cost the same and last about 2 years. LK Bennett ones last me 4-5 years and I stop wearing them because I fancied something different.
