Have decided there is no way I can learn how to drape a saree before next Friday, so will have to go for a Salwar suit.

Salwar in blue

4 piee jewellry set

For hand or this hand tattoo or this one

No idea on shoes yet!!!

its nice but the salwar isnt very dressy for a 'ball'

kittylette · 31/05/2007 20:06

love the jewellery & tattoos

NomDePlume · 31/05/2007 20:06

looks good.

is the salwar jewelled/embellished ?

Hulababy · 31/05/2007 20:08

kittylette - no way can I manage a saree though and the Chudidar tops are way too long for me, as are the skirts. Thinking Salwar is my best option for sizing.

i like the second hand tattoo. but agree the salwar looks a bit plain.

oranges · 31/05/2007 20:08

but you can get more ornate salwars...

Hulababy · 31/05/2007 20:10

NDP - this is the salwar They are more images. Says "WITH FRONT & BACK HAND AMBRIODERY WITH CONTRAST RESHAM & SEQUINS WORK." Not 100% on the back bit now though.

NomDePlume · 31/05/2007 20:13

More detailed salwar

Hulababy · 31/05/2007 20:14

So go dark then? Was trying to be brave, rather than black as normal, lol!

I know you don't fancy a sari, but this is gorgeous

Hulababy · 31/05/2007 20:17

yorkshirepudding - have no time for RL shopping sadly as back to work next week, and ball is next Friday. Away this weekend. Only found out about ball this week!

I agree NDP - but I just don't think I could drape it.

Gold number, prob quite good for a ball with sky high strappy metallic heels

Hulababy · 31/05/2007 20:25

Like that NDP - size 10 might be too small though sadly.

I think that gold one is lovely, actually. Will look for a 12.
