Back in the 90s I used to go and lovingly stroke these and squidge the air bubble in our local Foot Locker. I was desperate for them. I used to gaze at them lovingly on other people’s feet at school. I used to draw pictures of them!

And I’ve finally after all these years, purchased a pair to have for my birthday. The 14 year old in me is so happy that her unrequited love will now be..... whatever the opposite of unrequited is.

I often think about how ecstatic the 14 year old me would be at some of the style and beauty stuff that I can afford to buy now. It just adds an extra layer of happiness to a new purchase

I'm still waiting for mine! I also wanted these so so much. But in black/purple/yellow if I remember correctly. The ones I like I've seen lately (I still look fairly regularly ) are over £100 and not quite justified them to myself yet! One day...

@foxitude what size shoe do you take? I can get kids sizes as I’m a 4. Takes some £££ off the price.

👍🏻 I did the same recently with a pink ‘head’ sports bag I had coveted since 1988. It was too expensive for my mum to buy back in the ‘80’s it’s too nice for me to use 🙈so I just admire it 😂😂

NEF I have those! 3 years old this summer and still in excellent condition. I've not worn them for a while but they're loads comfier than my Airmax 90s.

I loved those too! Had a brown pair at uni.
