Do setting sprays work?

Particularly in this heat and without drying skin or causing it to break out?
Have you any recommendations that won't break the bank whilst I try it out?

If a product is sold on mainland china in a shop they have to test on animals.

I've been against animal testing since I found out about it & don't have anything tested on animals if I can help it. eg prescriptions you have no alternative on.

The Barry M ones are amazing.

Mac Fix + Matte is amazing and keeps my oily skin looking like velvet all day.

When applying a setting spray I apply two coats, the first coat I spray liberally all over then use a damp beauty blender to press it into the skin then a second coat to seal my makeup. Works every time.

I have to say there was more make up on my face cloth tonight and my skin looked calmer.
