Starting here! Hello all

Btw I did buy (a while ago) my first ever bikini in ages, hoping I’ll be brave enough to wear in Spain. I always feel overdressed @ the beach there, even in a tankini!
Cup sized, black, very modest high tummy bottoms but high leg. I couldn’t post a pic here (too self conscious) but may send you one from the beach next month if I’m tanned, from a long way away, and after a few sundowner mojitos 😎

Oh yes never thats lovely, you won't regret it. I love a colourful raincoat.

Well I need some sunshine in my life right now. Think the yellow is just the job [ and my new passion for yellow] When my tan goes and I am a bit sallower then it will be time for the blue side!!!!

Caro & Macy tops, be gentle I have never posted pics of me wearing anything before, both are comfortable I think the caro might look a bit big not sure.

@dontcallmelen both look lovely. I like those shorts in the first picture too!
I think you could probably size down in the Caro top although that does look very nice.

Fantastic thanks Ella and Never , I may actually order all 3 to try. I’ve never been very brave with coats pretty much all navy or black , quilted or Barbour type. Out of my comfort zone I go.....

dontcallme you’ve a lovely slim figure, they look good on you but think on the Caro you need to size down for it to look fabulous.

Agree that the caro looks slightly too big. The macey looks really great on you though. I remember trying it on a long time ago and it really didn't suit me but you look fab in it!!!

soy I downloaded some that you suggested,(and liked it ) but didn't buy a CD.. Our music center died ( several months ago now) and the Technical Music Officer of the house , cannot decide which system he wants us to 'invest' in .. So currently we have nothing to play anything on except my external CD drive for my laptop...

Crikey, thank you everyone for your very kind comments, You lot always look so well turned out & fab in your hush purchases I was a bit self conscious ( I don’t have much self confidence, had a stroke a few years ago which has left me a bit wonky & right sided weakness)
I think you all right the caro is a bit too loose, it’s an eight & sixes oos will keep the Macy as can get away with that being a bit looser & the fabric is lovely & soft.
@Ella the shorts are boden from last year, not sure if they still do them.

Sorry to hear about your cat @Laska5772 I don't know much about feline diabetes but know plenty about the human kind being a type 1 diabetic myself. Poor puss. I have plenty of needles and insulin but suspect it's different for cats. I lost one of ours last year, he has kidney disease and went bonkers in the process, lived up the chimney for a bit!

As much as I'm tempted, I'm off on my hols on Saturday and daren't risk ordering anything else.

Welcome melon ,tbh I think we’re all ‘a bit wonky’ on here in our own way but are a really nice chatty group. Obviously if you start buying Hush you do realise it’ll be a slippery slope for your bank balance - it gets addictive

@Cherries - I love the red Mac from pages back. The colour was lovely on you. I insist you keep it.

@melon both tops look lovely! You could easily size down but if no smaller size could you try doing a half tuck with them?

I am currently lounging on my bed in my harems and a mint velvet tee with the cutest back ever - kind of chevronesque thing going and a wee zip. The heating is on and it’s bloody freezing out. It’s an evening for hot chocolate and cake but after being in holiday mode for a month that’s not a good idea.

Ah, we all have something len. I’m the bald one who also used to be very fat and now I’m not, can barely dress myself without consulting the internet . You really do look good - and I like the fact on here that we can also trust that someone will tell us nicely when we are making a sartorial mistake. Cowpat coat, anyone?

Don’t make the mistake of returning the Mac cherries. I am so well off for coats and I still considered it.
