What's the sizing like? What's the propensity for boob gape-age. Do they Billow out from the waistline?

As a size 18 are they going to make me look even more mahoosive than I am?

I'm an 18 and bought 4 of these in size 16 following advice on here about sizing. They are generous and I find them really flattering. Bonus is they have proper usable pockets and the midi length makes them really comfy.

ScottyTeapot · 23/07/2018 13:20

Aah, thanks Tatiebee! Did I miss a thread on them? I only know of them through the flying squirrel thread!!

They're great. I'm about a 22 & large of nork & they're good. Elastic back works great

A word of warning though, the plain colours are a cotton type fabric & others are viscose type thing

TickledOnion · 23/07/2018 13:30

They look lovely. How long are they? I want thicker straps so might cut a little of the bottom hem off to turn into straps if they are long. (I’m 5ft 4in so not very tall.)

ScottyTeapot · 23/07/2018 13:41

And which material do you prefer, buckeejit?

LoniceraJaponica · 23/07/2018 13:41

I love those. Not sure I would get one in time for my holiday though.

MissWimpyDimple · 23/07/2018 13:42

Which are the better material? I would probably prefer plain.

SinkGirl · 23/07/2018 13:46

There are lots of sellers selling them cheaper but you need to make sure they’re in the UK.

Anyone got the thin blue and white stripe one? I can’t do viscose. Is it only the plain colours that are cotton like?

mimiasovitch · 23/07/2018 13:52

I bought a couple and they are in a thick nylon sort of fabric. Not especially nice but is quite wafty and cool. Sadly they look awful on me - I'm not especially long waisted but they sit just under my bust and remind of something my nanna would have liked. Plus there is an abundance of fabric between the side seam and the strap, though I've only noticed that on my ones. I clearly used the wrong seller.

ScottyTeapot · 23/07/2018 14:08

Was thinking of ordering the khaki green for my hols but am worried if I size down to a 16 (being an 18) it'll be too small. What do you reckon, S&B gurus?

I'm 5"8 and have a waist, if that helps inform!

Heismyopendoor · 23/07/2018 14:14

Oh these look cute!

buckeejit · 23/07/2018 14:21

I like the plain ones better & they are proper midi on me-I'm 5'8" odd too. Having said that the pattern ones are ok-I only have the sunflower one, bonus is that they don't crease. Particular bonus for me as I don't iron!

Ellapaella · 23/07/2018 14:37

I got a plain black one and it is very very long - comes right down to my mid lower leg. I think better suited to big chested people as well as I am fairly flat chested and it didn't look right at all on me. It arrived very creased and just doesn't really seem to hang right at all in the top half.

itsaldramarama · 23/07/2018 17:28

I got the navy one in Xl(16) I'm a 14 .
Nice fit but material is quite thick .
Ordered the blue stripe one but it's too tight , straps to short and more nylon than viscose , it went in the bin ! Shame as I darent chance ordering again now

hendricksy · 23/07/2018 17:46

I've got 4 , I got a 14 and I'm a size 12-14 in shops . If you are broad on top I would size up because I'm not and I didn't find them big at all. The blue floral one is a different material to the red , khaki , and black ones I bought .

Whatsthekey1 · 23/07/2018 17:50

The material is horrible. I had the sunflower viscose one and it was too sweaty for this weather. I wore it twice and sent it to the charity shop!

justanothersugar · 23/07/2018 18:29

There are quite a few for sale on the Facebook page - can I breastfeed in that - v popular with the bfeeding ladies!! You get a better idea of size as well. HTH
