I normally have my hair in a graduated bob (and no I'm not the type to ask for the manager
) but grew it out for when I was a bridesmaid a few weeks ago and I'm thinking this could be the time to try something new. I have an amazing stylist but I know if I go in wanting something different but without a clue what, then I'll just end up asking for the graduated bob again.
My hair can be rather frizzy/flyaway, but it's thick too so I usually have layers in it to make it more manageable, although those have been grown out right now as well. Naturally dark and curly but I often straighten it so a style that can work with either curly or straight would be ideal. Length is currently around shoulder length when curly (and a few inches longer when straight) but there are shorter bits (chin length approximately now) at the front from growing out a fringe (definitely don't want a fringe again). Having really long hair really annoys me and I always just tie it back instead of doing anything with it which is why I've gone for the bob in the past. I don't want to go shorter than chin length (might consider ear length if I loved the style enough) and I'd say my face shape is oval.
I'm not opposed to a new colour, never had any sort of highlights before but all-over blonde definitely doesn't suit me, I've been every other colour at some point pretty much though. I'm approaching 40 now and there are greys to cover if that makes a difference too.
