Are these too small?

I bought my normal size. They feel tight over the top of my feet and the buckle is on the 5th hole.

Another vote for getting them wet and letting them dry on your feet, mine went from 'ok' to 'OMG these are my most comfortable shoes ever' when I did that. For the PP was asking about that, the USP of Saltwaters is they can be worn in water with no damage.

And wiggle about the straps, they seem to give a lot when you do that (had to do that for the DDs last year, footbed length was fine).

Fifth hole (out of 7) is fine, I have narrow ankles and am in the 4th hole after a year of wear, use to be the 5th hole when I first got the sandals.
