Who's fat faces target market? What do we all think of it? Found myself getting the odd top there lately...

I love Fat Face, Weird Fish and White Company, although I find all of their stuff slightly overpriced at RRP so end up shopping in the sale or on EBay.

I am 40 and live near the coast Blush

I like Fat Face clothing but can only afford to pay charity shop prices. I have a skirt , which I am loathe to chuck away, despite it falling to pieces, which I have had about ten years.

I'd never realised it was supposed to be 'coastal/boaty' ... I grew up by the seaside and both DD and I like sailing. But O'Neill for that... wetsuits!Grin

Target market = rich people! 😂

TeaAddict235 · 17/07/2018 19:39

I like Fat face too. Am mid 30s city kid now in a village about 8-10 from the coast.

But I too like @MrsMoastyToasty find fat face a bit too pricey. I'm not sure if my concept of price vs cost vs quality has been distorted due to the constant sales on the high street, but I really have to think twice about stuff from them for my self. Whereas I'll happily buy stuff for DH or DC or DSis as gifts.

I love their chinos and jeans and woollens but hate the hippy ditsy floaty stuff. They do some pretty decent tshirts and tops too among the more frumpy. Good jackets too if you like parka type style. Feels very Sunday country pub lunch to me.

The quality of fat face clothing is shocking! Jersey invariably develops holes in a week and zips fail in two

PickAChew · 17/07/2018 22:50

All of our family have fat face clothes and I can't say any of us have had those problems.

I don't have any issues with quality on my FF stuff either. I have a few things that are 2 or 3 years old now and still fine, no holes or broken bits.

paradyning · 18/07/2018 05:23

Really? Wow completely different to my experience. I've even seen clothes moths in one branch. Granted I'm sure anywhere can have those

Candyflip · 18/07/2018 05:26

Their clothes look ok on the hanger, in real life they are badly fitting and badly made. I think they are for older women who want to look younger, but are getting it very very wrong. I have bought FF before, but every time I put them on I just look wrong.
