What to wear with Dungarees? (other than striped tops!)

Title says it all! I always find myself wearing my dungarees (I have a blue denim pair and a black pair) with stripy tops. Any other outfit ideas?

Best tips or plain t-shirts. I think the dungas are the thing so just keep it very simple underneath.

I often wear mine with pussy-bow blouses and brogues, rather than t-shirt and Stan Smiths - it gives them a completely different look. I also have a pale blue chambray shirt which looks good buttoned right to the top - quite preppy - with them, although that might not work with blue denim. (I have two black pairs.)

I have recently jumped on the dungarees bandwagon (and am so happy about it) - I wear all my slightly fitted tops under them, so shirts, t-shirts, vests, and come the cooler weather I will dig out my slightly tighter merino jumpers for underneath too.
I love the idea of pussy bow blouses and brogues so shall be nicking that idea, thank you!
