I think the dress would be tough to work ^with the jumper 😁 but yes, I like it too. Perhaps there's not enough wafting about in fields with flowers in my hair to warrant buying it though.

I love that jumper! And that dress would look good styled in lots of different ways. Toughen it up with a biker and boots, just on its own with vans , denim jacket thrown over it, loose fit jumper and a belt... I never actually shopped in Toast before but might have to check it out now 😁

I also agree, OP. I’ve shopped at Toast for a good few years but really can’t stand the droopy sister-wife dresses.

Some of Toast’s OAS line is good, and I still like some of the t-shirts and knitwear, although the prices are increasingly painful.

Yes that’s it in a nutshell, just what I want! Land girl with a bit of folk but with a dash of seventies mustard /tweed on occasion. Biddy neckerchief insouciance too.

This is why I’ve hoarded all my old toast clothing. They don’t make them like that anymore. For one thing all their dresses are now practically ankle length on me

I was looking at Toat dresses on line recently and they say they are designed for the average height, 5'6''. Far too short for me. I'm sure they used to be longer.

Totally agree. I miss the denim selvedge mini skirts. Lovely quirky blouses, washed velvet wide legs and tweed oversized blazers. Gorgeous cord and denim tunics, conker coloured boots and beautiful woolly coats that just scream cosy. So sad. its all just SO dull now.

The dresses are droopy and are frumpy in length unless you are tall and willowy and young enough not to age you. I used to want to order everything. Now I look and wouldn't want to order anything [well except for my recent purchase of moheda clog sandals]

White stuff used to be the same believe it or not. I would want EVERYTHING from their catalogue. Now it is beyond dire.
