size 24......posh summer wedding in July....need style help please!!!

I really really really would like to wear a long posh dress but will I look like the michelin man's sister?

Any ideas of what I should wear? Pics very appreciated! I really want to avoid black. I want to look bright and beautiful!

somethng straight, block colour is best as aptterns can be a bit fussy on larger women; simple but glam style. I will see what I can find

I am a size 18/20 and look awful in dresses. Sort of cube-like!

Do you have a waist?

If not, I really think 2-piece is better...

Anna Scholtz who has a diffusion range at Simply Be and Debenhams, has a very posh collection at Harrods, her stuff is fun and sexy. Unfortunately they don't have her Harrods stuff on line.

I'm in a 28 at the moment (not for much longer) and I wore a dress on Saturdfay for my sisters wedding and I never had so many compliments.

It's a long swooshy dress in black but with big bold white leaf print on it, worn with some bright chunky jewellery and a pair of heels and you can't go wrong.

Unfortunately I can't find it on there website and I'm not happy posting a link to me in the dress for obvious reasons, but go and have a look in Evans.
