Found a near-perfect t-shirt and it's only a tenner

I popped into into my local Peacocks on Friday to get DD some shorts and spotted these lovely t-shirts.

I don't tend to buy stuff for myself as alot of their clothes are just not to my taste but these t-shirts are fab. Really nice material and a good length to wear over shorts or tucked into a midi skirt.

I'm just on my way to buy another one. Oh and they wash well too.

They also do good leggings.

Aren't 'burnout' t-shirts usually see-through?

If you look at the second picture, the back view, you can see how transparent the top is by the label showing through.

I like the stuff in peacocks but have found they do not last. They lose their shape or seams come apart very quickly. Even the shoes are not made well at all and wear out after a few wears. Such a shame as their clothes seem to really suit my shape.

Polyester. Not for me.

Polyester is awful. I got some decent cotton T-shirts from Muji for around the same price. They are pretty good and wash well.

The white one is see through but the darker colours aren't. Yeah they're not pure cotton but don't have the feel of polyester.

I bought a few last year from Hush and Boden and they've washed terribly but I guess the flip side of it is disposable fashion. I doubt the peacock ones will last through to next year at that price.

But the white one is polyester and viscose no cotton.
