Good body cream or oil for dry skin?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend one, my skin tends to get very parched so I've been coating it in coconut oil or similar. Is there anything else on the market which is seven? I was thinking Palmers Gel if that is still around?

Have you tried almond oil, it is very good, do some reading up about its benefits.

If you have baby oil try some on your wet skin after a shower, or another oil if you don’t like baby oil.

Neutrogena visibly renew body lotion. My bargain everyday lotion. Excellent for scaly legs

Origins precipitous extra (££££ though)

Aromatherapy associates renew body oil. Heavenly but also £££££.

La roche posay iso-urea lait lissant is brilliant.

Have you tried Vaseline?
My daughter has very dry skin and we tried lots of creams and they would stop working after a while but Vaseline has done the trick for years. Where we live you can get it with cocoa butter which was even better.

E45 have a body lotion - with evening primrose oil, of all things, in dark blue packaging which looks like it's a men's product - the spray is good because it's moisturising but light enough for hot weather. If you can get over the packaging and datedness I recommend it. Otherwise I usually swear by Palmer's, but the weather is too hot just now.
