The elusive t shirt bra for 32GG, no longer pert, norks

I want something between those really lightweight, floppy ones that allow my boobs to hang over the top of the underwires like udders, and the slightly padded/moulded ones that draw too much attention to them.

Does such a thing exist?

I am a similar size and love the bravissimo satine bras. They are pricey at £30 a pop, but I find they are the only bras that feel comfortable on and fit me well. Everyone is different though and we're all different shapes even if we measure the same size. My boobs are quite round at the top part - so that style of bra suits me. Have you ever tried bravissimo? I'm a big fan. I just have less bras because of the cost. I don't think I had the whole bra thing figured out until I went there.

ChishandFips33 · 06/07/2018 20:54

Have you tried the Freya Deco?

I buy mine from Belle Lingerie

TheMythicalChicken · 06/07/2018 21:01

This one: www.bravissimo.com/products/smoothing-balconette-bra-nude-fa53nu/

So comfortable, I can’t even feel mine when it’s in. And I sleep in it.

MidLifeCrisis2017 · 06/07/2018 21:07

Thanks everyone, yes, love Bravissimo (usual story, I was wearing a 36D till I went there), so I'll try them. Sounds like we're the same shape.

I also like the fact that the Freya one has a gap between the boobs, don't want the matronly shelf effect just yet, although I'm old enough!

Any bra that fit properly shouldn't do that. Have you been measured in real life, by a corsetiere, or bra shop owner? If you are trying to buy a dream bra on line, that fits and flatters, get yourself to a shop and plan to spend an hour trying stuff on. You can buy online once you know what makes and styles work for you. This journey is one best started with expert advice.

SpeckledyHen · 06/07/2018 21:12

Try the Cleo Marcie at Bravissimo - I promise you won’t be disappointed . It as transformed me fro: matronly to perky 34G .

OCSock · 06/07/2018 21:12

A good bra shop, that should say, with lots of brands and all the sizes.

SpeckledyHen · 06/07/2018 21:13

Oops has and from !

MidLifeCrisis2017 · 06/07/2018 21:20

@OCSock sadly I live in the sticks, two hour drive to the nearest Bravissimo, so it's a case of ordering a few sizes around what I was last fitted at and trying them at home.

I'm a 32E and the best t shirt bra I've got is a fantasie one. Not sure how big they go, but if they do them in your size I'd have a look. Think it was around £35.

Thanksfortheinfo · 06/07/2018 21:26

Have you tried Freya Idol?

JennyOnAPlate · 06/07/2018 21:29

I'm a 38g and my favourite tshirt brad are from Asda!

I have this in black. Gives a nice shape and puts them back where they used to be. I'm 32ff.
I've tried a few Deco but the only style that fit my shape got discontinued.

TheArtfulScreamer · 06/07/2018 21:47

The fantasie Rebecca is one of my go to bras I've owned them in all different colours

OCSock · 06/07/2018 21:52

MidLife, | live in the sticks too, and if you widen your perimeter a bit, you may liuck out.

Toddlerteaplease · 06/07/2018 22:27

Yep Freya Deco. Love it.

FinallyGotAnIPhone · 07/07/2018 07:13

Hi I’m 32 F and have bought lovely t shirt ish / underwired soft bras from Debenhams before.

smeerf · 07/07/2018 10:13

The panache tango plunge is my absolute fav everyday bra. It does have a little lace rather than a smooth finish but the shape is lovely and I think it's the most subtle bra I have under clothes.

calzone · 07/07/2018 10:17

I was hunting for a 34GG in the Mark’s and Spencer sale and found nothing so I will be off to Reading today for Bravissimo.

OCSock · 07/07/2018 13:49

Midlife, if the rural southwest is any help, I can suggest a couple.

GrainneWail · 07/07/2018 13:53

I echo the Debenhams recommendation above. The two pack unpadded bras are great (32gg).

HermioneWeasley · 07/07/2018 13:54

Just ordered the Freya

Baaaaa

RiverTam · 07/07/2018 13:55

I have 4 of the Fantasie balconette bras linked to above. They’re the only bra I wear these days!

Kit10 · 07/07/2018 13:57

You may find going down in cup and up in band will help. But honestly as a 34F myself the plunge bras (M&S and Boux Avenue) are the best for me. Anything non wired, t shirt or trying to minimise makes me look like an overweight 70 year old. Up and out gives shape and spins down the rest of my body. I spent years trying to hide them, but look so much better with these bras.
