is there such thing as a trendy mac?

I want something warm and waterproof for our holiday to Wales. I don't want to look like one half of Howard and Hilda.
What do I look for? I'm thinking of this sort of thing:

H&M do a funky mac in grey, navy or beige with umbrellas all over

Right dp has one called (he says) a Taramor Belez smock which is a warm winter one (£140)

and a fuera smock which is a light summer one, not completely waterproof but water resistane (£50)

he cycles long distances in all weathers and recommends either of these. They both look fairly chic to me.

Thanks for all recommendations. I'm willing to spend a lot if it looks right. Just looked at the Snow and Rock site and it has 52 brands of jacket! I will look in TK Maxx I think and see if there are any bargains.

I have that one lisse. In navy. My sister hates it. Its fun

Don't think mines suitable for proper walking though. I just use it for rainy school runs or going to town etc with buggy.
