Any tips and tricks for getting rid of those unsightly underarm shadows (despite shaving😫)?

Is it 5 o’clock shadow that is making them dark or is it possible it may be the skin condition acanthosis nigricans?

SarahBeeney · 07/07/2018 23:20

Same problem here. Waxing works,no shadow at all.
I have got an epilator but find the pits SO painful.

GrumpyBagFace · 07/07/2018 23:41

Wax!

1st time is horribly painful but it's fine after that.

My issue with waxing...besides the pain is having to let them grow long enough. How long do you generally need to wait?

I got mine lasered off! High investment to start with, but I've done nothing to my pits for 3 years now and still bald. Best thing I ever did!

Book a wax

Or if you're brave epilate

I'd recommend a Philips Lumea, too. It's expensive, so only worth it if you really do give a shit Grin

CountFosco · 09/07/2018 18:14

I just let the hair grow, no shadow!

SarahBeeney · 09/07/2018 18:57

Have co purchased a Lumea with my best friend who lives round the corner 😀

GrumpyBagFace · 09/07/2018 19:21

I wax every 3 weeks and now the hairs are so fine and whispy you can't see them even if they're long.

CoolCarrie · 09/07/2018 19:26

Epilator or laser
