Would you go back to the hairdresser? (Pics)

I had bleach highlights put into my medium brown hair. I've been having this done for years and it always blends fairly well but a new hairdresser did it for me this time.

I wasn't happy with how well it had been blended at the sides so went back on Saturday, she redid the sides quickly and now it looks even bloody worse imo! Very blocky and with lots of root showing.

What do you think?

Hmmm. It's not good in the first pic - as you say blocky. Bit the second one looks ok.

That's both sides of my forehead not before and after Smile

Do you wear your hair up or down?

Mine was a bit like this on the sides after I got blonde highlights and I completely panicked and hated it... but, after about a week, the toner had worn off a little and it blended in much better. Maybe give it a week or so to settle?

That’s not great. I’m not sure if I’d go back though, just make a note not to use them again.

I find balayage / freehand colour or a ‘colour melt’ technique blends better and is a more up-to-date look.

Mainly up in this weather 😅

In that case, tie it up and leave a few wispies round your face to hide it a little.

I wouldn't go back because I don't think it's that bad, but avoid in future.

Not good sorry go back

NameChangeUni · 04/07/2018 12:43

It definitely doesn’t look like you got it done at a salon. It looks grown out (ie pre highlights) or like you tried doing it yourself.

Definitely don’t go back to them!

CookPassBabtridge · 04/07/2018 12:49

The right pic looks good but the left one isn’t blended and looks too much like a line. I wouldn’t ask for a refund but maybe give feedback?

Ugh it's really annoying me. Is there anything I can try at home?
