VeniVidiVickiQV · 25/05/2007 18:58

but ballerina or pump style because I need them for comfort to wear under a wedding dress.

I have some lovely high heeled satin sling backs for 'show'. But want some 'dancing' shoes for later.

Please help!

I have some ivory satin ankle boots that I wore for my wedding.
Only worn them once
I didnt fancy heels so bought the boots instead

they have a slight heel - 1 inch maybe?

PinkMartini · 25/05/2007 19:02

what about these: tinyurl.com/yt5zjq

Coolmama · 25/05/2007 19:03

sorry, the link won't work, byt try www.ivoryshoes.com - they have a pair of satin pumps - might be what you need.

SaintGeorgeTheQuoted · 25/05/2007 19:03

I still have my ivory satin ones too, but the heels are a bit discoloured (photos on the lawn and all that)

Cheap and maybe too creamy.

Idea of budget please QV?

VeniVidiVickiQV · 25/05/2007 19:12

budget....no so bothered, but not ridiculous.......

Thanks MM, I really do want flat shoes though.

Any of these suit?

NomDePlume · 25/05/2007 19:21

French Sole sell pretty, plain, excellent quality ballet flats. Lots of colour choices, including white/ivory/cream. They are a bit steep though at £80+

NomDePlume · 25/05/2007 19:23

Sorry, the plain white leather ones at french sole are £60, so not as bad as I thought. They are very comfy and well made.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 25/05/2007 20:02

St G...the music on that site is awful

But, cheap and seem to be basically what I want.

NDP - £60 is possibly a bit tooooo much.

Anything for my mentor

BellaBear · 25/05/2007 20:29

I ended up buying some reaaaaaallllly cheap (£5 or so) for the same reason, from one of those unmemorable shoe shops that has all the shoes in sizes and pairs. In the end I wore them for about half an hour.

Then again, I did buy ridiculously expensive proper shoes, which were heeled but strangely comfortable.

I ended up getting a pair of "proper" ivory flat ballet shoes (had a proper sole too) from a dance shop to go with my bridesmaid outfit (the bride didn't want me to be taller than her on her big day)

Think I paid about £20 for them (and then about £5 for them to be dyed to match the dress)
