Hello,
I've fallen in love with these ridiculous rainbow glitter sunglasses, but not the gucci price tag. Has anyone seen anything similar anywhere? Thank you

I'm going to be daft here and say .. you could make those couldn't you? Few cheap pairs of sunglasses to practice on and a visit to a craft shop for the right kind of glue?

Asos have glitter frames, but none quite as full-on as the ones in your photo.
I bought these and they're pretty great.

MrsChollySawcutt · 02/07/2018 15:28

Poundland? They are hideously tacky looking.

Cismyass · 02/07/2018 16:59

Primark is a sure bet for the closest 'tribute'pair.

rainbowgrimm · 02/07/2018 17:59

Yep, they are hideously tacky. I think that's why I love them.
Yours are lovely MrsDewinter.
I'm really tempted by the DIY option. I've got a glue gun & a load of glitter in the craft cupboard. What could possibly go wrong??

No idea but now I’ve seen them I want them too! They’re EPIC

Sorry to be all sensible and spoiling your fun and all that....but please be careful using craft glitter anywhere near your eyes....had a scratched lens when one small teeny bit of glitter ( that I put in my hair) got in....the pain was horrendous!

NameChangeUni · 02/07/2018 18:38

I think you should DIY it too, I’m not a crafty person but it doesn’t look that difficult. You might need something to seal the glitter onto the glasses so it doesn’t flake off? Not sure. At least this way you can find the most flattering pair of sunglasses as a base

Use glitter nail varnish. Sponge it on so that you get a good density of glitter, then finish with a clear topcoat across the whole frame. Voila!

Disclaimer, I know Its hard to believe but actually I do not work for Gucci.

rainbowgrimm · 02/07/2018 19:25

Glitter in eyes does not sound fun. Nail varnish sounds a more sensible plan.
I like the leopard glitter ones from that link, but wouldn't want to risk looking hideously tacky Grin

Ooo the glitter nail polish sounds like an easy option!
