Black dress with nude shoes OK or dated looking?

I've not much of a clue about current trends so please help O Wise Mumsnetters! Are nude shoes still OK to wear with a black dress? Not my usual style but I need to wear something super-smart and I thought nude might look a bit more summer-y than black in this heat. Or will I look like I stepped out of 2013?

What's the consensus?

I think nude court shoes, especially patent ones are dated. However there are a lot of blush pink shoes and sandals around which aren’t that different from nude, but somehow look so much more modern and fresh
