Plus the scrubby bits are walnut and summat else "grown" rather than manufactured. If that makes sense.

Craic I think Havana Blues has just been discontinued! I am devastated.

TheCraicDealer · 29/06/2018 15:53

Don't do that to me Lost! It smells like I imagine Tom Ford's house does Sad

udnertheradar · 29/06/2018 21:17

And other stories! It really is great.

Isleepinahedgefund · 29/06/2018 21:20

Make your own, I just mix sugar in with my shower gel. Same effect as whatever you’d buy. Because it dissolves into the shower gel you can’t get carried away with it. If you must have more grainy add salt as well as sugar.

Have tried coffee grounds but it’s just really messy and gives the same results as sugar but more hassle to clear up!

Micro beads are banned now.

PickAChew · 29/06/2018 21:23

Whatever you choose, steer cltof anything with microplastic beads in them.

Ollivander84 · 29/06/2018 23:25

Salux cloth off amazon but go easy with it!
Or the ground coffee dry type scrubs, cheaper off eBay

LostInShoebiz · 30/06/2018 16:58

Craic I have an update. Went into two different branches in the last two days and they had a full complement of Havana Blues items They even had the hand lotion which is usually out of stock. The website has almost none of the range but stores have plenty and it wasn’t in the sale so let’s keep our fingers crossed I was fed false information!

And yes! It is exactly how I imagine Tom Ford’s house smells. Though I have smelled the man himself and he was more like a kind of fresh sea salty smell.

I use this scrub from Mira's Hand. Its called savon noir and it softens the dead skin after which you can scrub away with their glove. The dead skin comes off in grey bits. So satisfying. I ask hubby to do my back when he is around.

Justgivemeasoddingname · 04/07/2018 00:52

Elemis- I've never felt anything quite like it

Mmmmmmmchips · 04/07/2018 02:31

OP I feel you
I went through the same thing

I tried so many high end and low end including all the soap and glory ones

I am now on my8th pot of Flakeaway by them and just buy it when it’s on 3 for 2. Just opened a new one today- it was glorious!

dameofdilemma · 04/07/2018 11:18

If you're skin is resilient then the Soap & Glory ones are fine and good value for money.

I find most scrubs either too rough and/or contain perfume so sting and leave my skin sore. Or they're designed for sensitive skin and are so gentle they don't exfoliate properly.

The only one I've found that doesn't aggravate my eczema or dry out my skin I but really gets rid of dry flaky skin is the Cowshed salt scrub. Luckily I keep getting CS gift vouchers for birthdays as its expensive!

WellTidy · 04/07/2018 11:45

Soap and Glory The Scrub of Your Life is really great. £7 for 200ml, on 3 for 2 at the moment. I buy it over and over again as it does a good job and is excellent value.

Any of the Rituals ones are very lovely indeed, but more like £20 for 200ml. Beautiful fragrances though and I love using them.

Pretamum · 04/07/2018 11:55

Lush Ocean Salt face and body scrub. I only use it on my face because it's pricey and would run out really quickly if used it on my body too, but my skin feels heavenly and so smooth after using it. Definitely worth a try! Lush also do a body scrub bar called Buffy, which again worked an absolute treat on my skin.
