i know! when yorkiegirl told me she was using them as an incentive for her weightloss, i thought what a good idea.

mind you, i would get a bead for every lb lost lol.

kittylette · 23/05/2007 22:33

Ive already told DP i want one for 'each child' one that says he loves me, one for my birthday and one for the wedding,

Mine arrived today.
'Tis gorgeous!

Nbg · 01/06/2007 11:32

Dont get it.

What are they about?

bobbiewickham · 01/06/2007 11:34

They are charm bracelets, and the charms are very gorgeous indeed. You can also get little coloured glass beads to slot on them as well, to brighten them up or co-ordinate with what you are wearing.

scatterbrain · 01/06/2007 11:36

There's a pic of mine on my profile - although some people don't approve as apparently I missed the point and didn't do it properly !

Nbg · 01/06/2007 11:36

Ahhhh I seeeeee!

Flame · 01/06/2007 11:36

I like the mexico one

skibump · 01/06/2007 11:41

Scatterbrain, I think that looks lovely, what did you do wrong

Tiggiwinkle · 01/06/2007 11:44

Where did you get yours from bobbiewickham?

scatterbrain · 01/06/2007 11:45

I bought it all at once and someone said I had missed the point - apparently the "rules" are that you have to get a charm to mark each occassion in your life - and if you don't do it properly you miss the point !

Trouble is - I am 40 and had a lot of back-log to catch up with - so I decided to catch up in one go !

bobbiewickham · 01/06/2007 11:46

I didn't do it properly either, Scatterbrain.
But my bracelet is gorgeous, plus I have an extra frisson of naughtiness!

I know what you mean scatterbrain-I am older than you and feel the same . I cant afford to get many beads to start with though so I shall just have to be patient and start with a few!

bobbiewickham · 01/06/2007 11:48

I got mine over the tinternet, from County Jewellers in N. Ireland.
They are lovely; very prompt service and an extremely good website which makes it very easy to spend silly pounds!

Tiggiwinkle · 01/06/2007 11:52

I must admit I am not "into" jewellery usually but these have really taken my fancy!

bobbiewickham · 01/06/2007 11:59

Go on, Tiggywinkle!
Do it, do it!
You know you deserve it.

Chopster · 01/06/2007 12:05
