Would you ask you DH to brazilian wax you?

I want to try and do a brazilian wax. I have the supplies but should i wax myself and surprise my husband in bed...or have him help me wax. It would super fun and hilarious for us to do it together, but I think he would fall even more madly in love with me if I surprise him. What would you do?

I wax my friends and family members for years. Its more facial waxing though. I am just kind of scared. I am not embarrassed or anything like that, I am a pretty open individual and love new experiences.

Bikini waxing is even more excruciating when attempted at home. Not sure I'd call nearly losing a flap "super fun and hilarious". 😕

What would I do?

I don't think you’ll be able to do it yourself. It bloody hurts for one and unless you have nerves of steal I don't think you’ll be able to do it. Also it’s so important that everything is waxed properly and in the right direction so that you don't get ingrown hairs and lumps and bumps (not sexy). Go to a professional. I’ve had it done (years ago) and it felt nice afterwards but like all waxing, it grows back so you need it done regularly to keep on top of it. I honestly couldn't be bothered with the pain and hassle now so just trim but if you fancy it, give is a whirl but my advice is to definitely pay a professional!

I did a beauty course when I left school I didn't finish it because u was a daft teenager but I did cover the waxing parts you need to be really careful and hold tbe area really tight otherwise the skin can be really damaged when you pull the was off. In all honestly I would let a professional do it as if anything goes wrong on tbat area it would be incredibly painful

I did it myself for years. It’s messy, undignified, and incredibly painful. Generally requires the skills of a contortionist, about ten hours, and a mirror pointed at your fanjo for the duration.
Had my first professional one last month because I’m pregnant and it was a revelation. Worth every single penny.
