think there was some sort of issue with the fit or cut of it?

I'm looking for a dress to wear to a wedding and I saw a couple of nice dresses on sale on the brands website, further reduced on a clearance site and even further reduced on Ebay. Seems to be a variety of sizes available.

I might think it there was something wrong with it, or last seasons stock.

Possibly, but if I could afford it I would take a chance and mentally budget for some alterations!

I've bought a couple of things like this on ebay.
Nice material/colours and looked exactly like the pictures but in both cases the sizing was really off.
For example I'm usually a size 12 in dresses. One dress I bought that was suppose to be a fittedstyle sized 12 dress measured 44 inches around the bust, which I would say was more a size 16.
If on ebay can you ask for measurements?

I managed to find a review of one of the dresses online. It's definitely from previous seasons but the review was good.

I took a chance and ordered two dresses. They are both perfect. Well known brands, all tags, perfect condition and under £40 for both!!!
